1. Who we are

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Natural Hair Culture Ltd. "The site" means this website, and "the service" means the site together with the products and services we provide through it.

You confirm that you are legally able to accept these terms, and that you are old enough to enter into a binding contract or have your parent or guardian's consent. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

When you use the site, please do not:

• resell products bought from us — anything we supply is for your own use
• use our products for any unlawful purpose
• collect information from the site in bulk, by software or by hand, without our written permission
• use automated means to access the site, or try to reach any account or system you are not meant to reach (search engines indexing the site are welcome)
• flood the site with requests, or otherwise disrupt or overload it
• reverse engineer or work around the site or its systems
• stop anyone else from using and enjoying the site

If you post a review, question or other content, it must not infringe anyone's intellectual property, be defamatory, disclose someone else's private or confidential information, be fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene or discriminatory, encourage criminal conduct, advertise anything other than what we sell, or contain malicious code. We may remove content that does.

3. Our content

We, our licensors or our partners own the content and materials on the site. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may print or download individual pages for that purpose provided you keep all copyright notices intact. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell, translate, adapt or distribute material from the site without permission.

Please do not send us your business ideas. We are always working on our own, and if you send us an idea you agree that we may use it and that you will not claim we took it without permission.

4. Your account

Some parts of the site need an account. Please give us true, accurate and current information, and keep it up to date — particularly your contact details, so we can reach you about an order.

You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, whether or not you authorised it, so keep your password to yourself. We are not liable for loss arising from your failure to do so. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.

5. Communicating electronically

We communicate with you electronically — by email, and through notices on the site. You agree that this satisfies any legal requirement for such communications to be in writing. This does not affect rights you cannot waive.

6. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue the site or any part of it, subject to applicable law. We may also suspend or end your access to the service, and remove content you have submitted, at any time — including if you break these terms. Terms that were in force when your access ended continue to apply.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe in good faith that material on this site infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with: a description of the work; where the material appears on the site; your contact details; a statement that you believe the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, made honestly, that your notice is accurate and that you are entitled to act for the owner; and your signature. We end the site privileges of repeat infringers.

8. Products and prices

Prices may change without notice, and we are not liable to you or anyone else for a price change. We may limit quantities, discontinue a product, or restrict sales to a person, region or country, at our discretion.

Occasionally the site may contain a typographical error, inaccuracy or omission — in a description, a price, a promotion, a delivery charge or an availability. We may correct it and, if necessary, change or cancel an order, even after you have placed it, and we will tell you if we do.

We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but we cannot guarantee that your screen shows colours faithfully.

We select our products from reputable brands. We are not the manufacturer, and ingredient lists change, so the packaging in your hand is the accurate list — not this website.

9. Orders

We may refuse or limit any order, including orders that appear to come from dealers or resellers, and orders placed on the same account, card or address. If we change or cancel an order we will try to reach you on the email, phone number or billing address you gave us.

Please give complete and accurate purchase and account information. We are not responsible for losses caused by information that was wrong or out of date.

At checkout we ask for an email address and a phone number so that we can send you an order confirmation and tell you when your parcel is on its way.

10. Payment

We accept:

• Juice by MCB (Mauritius and Rodrigues)
• Bank transfer
• Credit card
• PayPal

Whichever you choose, please quote your order number as the payment reference. Without it we cannot match your payment to your order.

Bank transfer

Choose bank transfer at checkout and complete your order; we then send you our bank details by email. Our accounts team reconciles transfers on working days. An order with no payment against it is cancelled automatically after 48 hours.

If you are transferring from a bank other than MCB it can take a couple of working days to arrive. Send your proof of payment to [email protected] with your order number as the subject and we will stop the cancellation by hand. We cannot hold unpaid orders longer than that, because the stock is needed for orders that are paid.

11. Delivery

We deliver across Mauritius. Delivery is Rs 150, and free on orders over Rs 3,000. Orders normally arrive within 1 to 3 working days, and we deliver to your home or your workplace.

Please check your address before confirming, and give one where somebody can take the parcel during working hours. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody could be reached, a further Rs 150 handling and delivery charge applies to send it again.

For delivery to Rodrigues, or outside Mauritius, please contact us before ordering and we will confirm what we can do, what it costs and how long it takes. Any customs or import duty in the destination country is yours to pay. Some items in glass packaging cannot be shipped abroad.

12. Returns, refunds and cancellation

If something is wrong with your order, email [email protected] and we will help. Because of what we sell, we refund damaged or faulty products; we do not otherwise offer refunds or exchanges. Nothing here affects rights you have under Mauritian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Once your payment has been received and the order has gone to our warehouse, it can no longer be cancelled. Before that, an unpaid order cancels itself after 48 hours as described above.

13. Health disclaimer

Everything on this site is for information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it in place of advice from your doctor or pharmacist. If you have a specific health question, or think you may have a medical emergency, speak to a health professional immediately.

14. Liability

The site is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be accurate, reliable or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent the law permits, neither we nor our managers, employees, agents, service providers or suppliers are liable for any loss or damage of any kind — direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive — arising from your use of this site or from the purchase or use of any product bought through it, even if we were told such loss was possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

16. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. Any amendment is posted on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Please look at it from time to time.
