Cookie Policy
Last updated : 28 August 2026
What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind. You choose everything except the few cookies without which the shop cannot work.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. It lets the site recognise your device between one page and the next — which is how a basket survives you clicking through to another product. We also use similar browser storage, and this policy covers that too.
2. Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you allow. You can accept everything, refuse everything that is not essential, or open the categories and decide one by one. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set until you choose.
We remember your answer for one month, then ask again. To change it before that, use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of any page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the basket and sign-in working.
3. Strictly necessary
These are always on, because the shop cannot function without them. They are not used to track you or to advertise.
- Your basket, so it is still there when you move between pages
- Your signed-in session, so you are not asked to log in again on every page
- Your language, so a French visitor is not returned to English
- Your cookie choice itself — stored as a cookie, so we do not have to ask again on the next page
- Security and fraud prevention, including protecting forms from abuse
4. Audience measurement
Set only if you agree. These tell us which products and pages people actually look at, how they arrived and where they gave up, so that we know what to stock and what to fix. They produce statistics about visits, not a profile we use to contact you.
5. Marketing
Set only if you agree. These let us show our products on other sites and tell whether an advert led to an order. They are set by the advertising platform, not by us, and that platform can recognise the same browser elsewhere.
6. What is running today
At the moment this shop loads NO audience-measurement or marketing scripts at all. Those categories exist in the banner so that your choice is recorded and honoured the day we add one — not so that something is quietly running behind them now.
7. Third parties
Some pages carry content from other companies — a payment page, an embedded video or a social feed — and those companies may set their own cookies when the content loads. We do not control them, and their own policies apply.
8. Changes and contact
If we add a new cookie, or a new reason for one, we will update this page and ask you again where your previous answer no longer covers it. Questions to [email protected]. How we handle personal data more generally is set out in our Privacy Policy.
